69 – 10 week recap…

14 08 2010

Well – let us see…

It has been 10 weeks (almost) and I redid most of my baseline workout tests, weighed myself, took pictures and measurements. So – you’re probably curious, as I was, how I’ve been doing… Well, here are my updated stats…

Although I have slowed down in the weight loss department, which I am sure is partly because I have been so bad at cheating… I have still been improving with leaps and bounds in the strength department. I was amazed to see how I improved at my baseline test, and was super super pleased with my mile time. I was amazed that I was able to take over a minute off my time, with only having run twice in the last two months. I LOVE Crossfit! It does amazing things for your body! But I think what amazed me the most, was that even though I only lost an additional 4 pounds in the last month, I lost another 2″ on my waist. Again – I LOVE Crossfit!

I think next month I am actually going to post pictures. I am going to try to be really good at my nutrition and stay on top of it, and I am starting a 100 day challenge. I am creating a list of some exercises (like squats, pull-ups, push-ups, lunges, etc…), and I am going to do 100 reps of a different exercise every day, and rotate through them. We’ll see how I do. Going to be interesting for sure.

So – that is how it is going. I think tomorrow I’ll write more about all the emotional stuff and such that has been going on. Here’s to more success!
